Chopper Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Frequented California Coast
A helicopter flying over a well-attended coastal coastline abruptly commenced twirling uncontrollably, ultimately descending rapidly and crashing into a row of palm fronds as beachgoers looked on.
Videos shared online depict the helicopter starting to spin over the shoreline then descending in the direction of the border of the coast, where it gets stuck amidst palms and a staircase close to the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Update
The Huntington Beach fire department said five people were taken to hospital including two individuals who were in the chopper and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the incident on Saturday.
Three persons on the pavement were hurt. Details on their wounds were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
